Emmet's Eagle Project

Emmett’s Eagle Scout project took place on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  The event was held at Sunrise Senior Living on Glebe Road where scouts used various tools to build elevated garden buildings, and demolished old ones. About 15 scouts volunteered from 9pm to 1pm, where they worked hard to remove existing flower beds, dug holes for the poles of the new ones, and assembled them using drills and screws. Scouts fueled themselves on this warm, sunny day with some Papa John's pizza, and according to Emmett, the project was a huge success, and Sunrise is “super appreciative” of the project.
