Arlington National Cemetery Wreath Retirement

On January 22, 2022, Troop 167 along with many other troops helped Arlington National Cemetery by picking up wreaths placed on headstones over the holidays. The morning was sunny but cold. Scouts met at 8 a.m. at the Netherlands Carillon for a short walk to the cemetery. Scouts picked as many wreaths as they could carry at a time for disposal in large bins in the cemetery. The Scouts assisted the cemetery as a way to honor those resting on its grounds.
