2022 Virtual Campout

On January 22, 2022, Scouts participated in a home camping night. Before the camping night, Mr. Faris discussed how to be prepared for cold weather camping. The night of the campout was at temperatures below freezing making the information taught by Mr. Faris, valuable both in the short and the long term. The campout started with a virtual campfire over Zoom. Here, patrols practiced some creative skills and entertained the troop. The troop also played an educational game on the program Blooket. After the ceremony, Scouts set up tents in their yards as shelter for the cold night. The Scouts who camped will be awarded the “Polar Bear” badge in the Spring Court of Honor.
